The Clerks movie cost $27,575 to make you could also tell, it's a low budget film because there wasn't any special effects and it was edited very basically. Also there was no well know actors, which makes the film a lot cheaper to make. The Clerks movie was filmed in the same location through out the whole film this means they didn't have to pay to film, in a studio. Also there was very bad lighting in some of the clips i think this is because they didn't have enough money for proper lighting.
