TV advertisement evaluation
I've taken screen shots of the brief and posted them below. We decided as a group to make the Vo5 advert by look at each others prezi's then voted on the best one. Then we started putting some ideas together. The current target audience 14-24 year old and we are re-branding it to 40-60 year old. We are aiming the product at them because there isn't many hair products aimed at them and we want to expand the market.
Feedback
We collected all the information above using survey monkey and we send it to older people to fill out through survey monkey. We definitely managed to get our main message over to our audience because we had one of them in our advert.
We filmed our Ad in our college toilets but we had it look just like a normal toilet because we used a start toilet so you wouldn't realize that it was filmed inside a college. We use a canon 700D to film with. When we got feedback from the class most people said they like the uses of close ups we used. People also said they loved the moving graphic we had at the end. We put a song over our advert that worked very well with the footage.
I think our finished advert is would sell the product very effectively to the specified audience through it's story line because the story is telling you that if you use Vo5 it will make you look young again. The persuasion techniques we use were Vo5 will make you look a lot younger again. I think we pulled this off pretty well.
I think the advert we made is very looks very professional and there isn't anything we can improve. We didn't break any of the BCAP code, so we met all the requirements.
Our advert turned out exactly how we wanted it to, it basically looks the same as are story board because we didn't have to change many shots. The feedback we got from our tutors was all good but he said he didn't think the Advert would make him go out and buy the product.
Over all, I'm very satisfied with our final advert that we made, i wouldn't do anything differently if we were to do it again. In the project my job was to make the storyboard, film the advert and help edit the final advert.
