In the year 1941 music started to get played with videos behind them in clubs and bars, then in year 1956 in Hollywood they started making music-centered films such as the film "shake".
In 1975 a ground braking music video called Bohemian Rhapsody released by Queen, for the time the special affects were amazing and a game changer for music videos.
The next music video considered ground breaking from it's time is Ashes to Ashes, this was released in 1980. I liked how the video was all in weird colors, i thought it made the the music video really interesting to watch and made it different to all the other music videos at this time.
The music video for the song Self Control i thought was a bit weird but it did keep me watching because it was a bit strange. This Music video came out in 1984.
Michael Jackson's Music video for Thriller was a game changer for music videos because it was made as a short film, as a short film i liked it but as a music video i didn't because if i was watching to listen to the film i would just skip it to the song part.
I really liked the Music video for Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel because it was animated which i thought when really well with song. This music video came out in 1986.
I thought the music video for "Tonight, Tonight" by Smashing Pumpkins was really cool and different i liked how they made it look like they was flying through space on a rocket. This Music video came out in 1996.
This music video for the song Gucci Gang by lil pump got 500,000,000 views in less than 4 months. I really like this video because of the bright colors and the video matches the song perfectly with lip sinking.
